CapStream

How CapStream works

One process covers bonding and funding. Here is the path from first conversation to a bonded project with cash in hand.

Requesting a bond does not affect your credit.

The four steps

  1. Share your company details

Send company information, financial statements, and completed job history once through the CapStream request form.

Requesting a bond does not affect your credit.

  2. Receive your bonding line

Underwriting sets your single job and aggregate limits, backed by a financing commitment and the SBA guarantee where it helps.

  3. Get bonds as you win work

Request bid bonds as fast as 1 hour, and performance and payment bonds as fast as same day after award.

  4. Draw mobilization funding

Access up to 20% of the contract price before the project starts to cover premiums, materials, rentals, and early payroll.

What to have ready

Company

  • Legal entity name and EIN
  • Contractor license information
  • Owner details

Financials

  • Most recent year end statements
  • Interim balance sheet and income statement
  • Work in progress schedule

Project

  • Bid documents or executed contract
  • Owner name and bond forms required
  • Startup costs you need funded

Timing you can plan around

Once you are approved, bid bonds can be issued as fast as 1 hour so you can meet a bid date. Performance and payment bonds can be issued as fast as same day after award, once the final contract and bond forms have been reviewed. Turnaround depends on complete information and underwriting review.

Mobilization funding is requested against the awarded contract and is designed to land before you mobilize, not after your first pay application.
